Club Bylaws:
The following bylaws were found at the Stein Club scribbled in a small lined notebook...
1. When a meeting is called, all club activities shall cease.
2. There shall be a short meeting on every regular meeting date.
3. A quorum shall be constituted by all the members present at such regular
meetings.
4. A financial secretary shall be elected for a one year period.
5. A financial report shall be submitted to membership twice a year.
6. Any member may call a meeting.
7. Flowers for funerals of members.
8. Honorary members – members must ask to be honorary members membership
vote shall decide.
9. Raise dues to $5 per meeting to cover cost of at least 6,000.00 Fire Insurance. This would give club an additional $268.00 per year.
10. Missed meetings – 3 in row and you're out unless excused.
11. Missed meetings - $3
12. Attended meetings - $4
13. Back Dues – all back dues must be paid quarterly.
Hosts are responsible for:
1) Collection of dues
2) Food and drinks
3) Clean-up
New Members:
A. Attend 3 meetings or more for 6 month period or less
B. Must be sponsored by a member in good standing
C. New members must secure 2/3 +1 of total members in good standing
D. There shall be no serious confrontation among members
Club parties: parties shall be put on by the club at any time for any reason
- Clean up shall be by appointed crews
- Crews shall clean up in consecutive order
- Any member may sponsor party anytime as long as there are no conflicting parties
- Members sponsoring parties are responsible for all actions goings on- clean up etc. utensils
- Any member in good standing is entitled to all of the benefits the
club has to offer at any time.
- Meeting dates every 2 nd Sunday of the month except as the membership
should decide otherwise.
- At mixed parties all members should do all in their power to prevent
foul language or actions by any member or guest present.
- Total membership shall not exceed 24.
- An odd numbered candidate must wait until an even number of openings
are available before being voted upon for membership.
- Persons who are not members may reserve the club for occasions but
only under the sponsorship of a member and only upon vote of the membership.
- No reminder cards required for regular meeting dates.
- Cards may be sent for all occasional parties.
- When having a party where guests are invited, 3 or 4 members should
be elected at the meeting before the party to serve drinks to guests.
This way every member does his share.
- Cooks can't play cards on the Sundays that they are working! Or any
other games!
- All members shall drink keg beer.
- All members shall flush own toilet.
- No smoking in camp or clubhouse!
- All widows of deceased members should be invited to parties.
