Meeting Minutes: 1977-1997
Note: not consistent every month, sometimes only one month out of the year, often written on scraps of paper, but most were in a bounded notebook.
Financial responsibilities:
Fire insurance, new roof, fix windows, glasses, big pots, utensils, new chimney, lawn mower, freezer and taxes.
Club improvement:
Cut dead birch, clean up building, purchase and install new dart board
Parties announced:
Women's party, Halloween, Christmas, Spring Break, Pig Roasts, Garden Feed, Harvest Dinner, Birthdays
At parties, appoint a booze committee; divide up jobs into music, decoration and invites
Organizational stuff:
New members voted in, recorded in notes, all nominated members must be sponsored. Honorary memberships.
Renting the Stein Club hall: retirement and graduation parties
Motions to have Labor Day floats and vote on themes
Discussion: Beer Cheaper
Motion to sell Mrs. Hoefferle a chair for a keg of beer
Appreciation given for new refrid to hold keg beer
